X, formerly known as Twitter, is facing a city violation that could result in a hefty fine. Its installation also has neighbours quite irate. The company removed its Twitter branding and replaced it with a flashing ‘X’ atop its headquarters in San Francisco. However, the New York Times now reports that workers on Monday dismantled a giant “X” sign that was only briefly displayed on the roof of Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco
