SA’s Special Investigating Unit welcomes the High Court’s two judgments in Johannesburg regarding a security tender at the SABC. The first judgment annulled the interim board’s award of the contract to Mafoko Security Patrols over the recommended Mjayeli Security, incurring an extra cost of over two-million-rand. Mafoko is now required to provide an audited expense and profit statement.
