Namibia and South Africa call for peace internationally

Namibia and South Africa have called for the international community to settle ongoing conflicts across the world, including the independence of Western Sahara and the implementation of a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine. The two southern African neighbours that are set to host their bi-annual commission meeting in Windhoek, have reiterated their support for the people of Western Sahara and Palestine. They further called for lasting solutions to conflicts in Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Russia-Ukraine war. South African Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Angela Thokozile Didiza, stressed that the continued acts of aggression and the loss of life cannot continue unabated.
