Popular Democratic Movement member Winnie Moongo tabled a motion in the National Assembly calling for five months’ maternity leave with full pay. CEO of the Social Security Commission, Milka Mungunda, reacted by saying the commission has already started with engagements to increase maternity leave from three to four months, along with benefits.
