Wenela Border Post in the Zambezi region is set to be officially inaugurated

The Wenela Border Post in the Zambezi region is set to be officially inaugurated as a 24-hour port of entry between Zambia and Namibia today. The development comes as Namibia and Botswana opened the Trans-Kalahari/Mamuno border post in March as a 24-hour operation, a move expected to boost economic development in the region. Situated in Namibia’s Omaheke region, the border post is a crucial link between the port of Walvis Bay and Botswana’s capital, Gaborone. Here is the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security’s spokesperson Margaret Kalo.
