The UK government will declare the Russian mercenary group Wagner a terrorist organisation, which will make it illegal to be a member or support the group in the country. A draft order will be laid in Parliament today, which will also allow the group’s assets to be categorised as terrorist property and seized. Wagner was led by Yevgeny Prigozhin until he was killed in a plane crash last month.
