NamPower has awarded a contract of over N$100 million to Actom Energy Namibia.This is for the procurement of high voltage equipment for the upgrade of the recently completed Sekelduin substation at Swakopmund. NamPower managing director Simson Haulofu said the substation will help to meet current and future electricity demands in the Erongo region.
