Eskom has announced an extension of the ongoing load-shedding suspension to Tuesday 4PM. Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokoena says this is due to sustained enhancements in the performance of the generation fleet and the full recovery of emergency reserves. Mokoena outlined the schedule, noting that Stage 1 load-shedding will commence on Tuesday at 4PM until 5AM on Wednesday. Thereafter it will be suspended until 4PM. This pattern will be repeated daily until further notice.
