Fitch Ratings has maintained Namibia’s Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating at ‘BB-‘ with a Stable Outlook. The country’s ratings are underpinned by robust governance indicators and fiscal financing flexibility, however, these strengths are counterbalanced by persistent fiscal deficits and elevated government debt levels.
