Hundreds of Namibians have been flocking to the NovaNam exhibit at the Windhoek Industrial and Agricultural Show, which is currently underway. This is with the intention of purchasing the fish at what most describe as very affordable prices. NovaNam is one of over 200 exhibitors at the show, including three international exhibitors from Tanzania, Ghana and South Africa, with its display drawing a large number of Namibians buying fish in bulk. NovaNam is a subsidiary of the Pescanova Group of Companies, which operates one of the world’s largest fishing fleets.
