The EFF in Tshwane says it is demanding the reinstatement of dismissed municipal workers or it will render the city ungovernable. The party marched to the city’s head office in the Pretoria CBD yesterday, also demanding the increase of salaries of municipal workers. Public servants affiliated with the South African Municipal Workers Union, who have been protesting for two months, want a wage increase of 5.4-percent. Meanwhile, mayor Cilliers Brink says they cannot afford to pay salary increases:
