The UN’s Secretary-General warned on Sunday that we are on verge of the abyss in the Middle East, as he made humanitarian appeals. U.S. President Joe Biden has spoken with the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to condemn the Hamas attack on Israel, but also to reiterate that the militant group does represent all Palestinian people, and their right to dignity and self-determination.
