The Ministry of Home Affairs says it will comply with the Supreme Court judgment on the recognition of same-sex marriages. This as, Executive Director, Etienne Maritz, explained they acknowledge the independence of the courts and the finality of Supreme Court decisions. Baumann, says though that while the Ministry acknowledged the independence of the courts and the finality of Supreme Court decisions, it is still necessary to keep an eye on their future actions.
