Green charcoal factory to create jobs and boost local economy

The Green Charcoal Namibia factory in Arandis is expected to create more than 850 indirect jobs in various areas like production, transport, machinery manufacturing, engineering, and exports. The N$60 million investment, officially inaugurated on Monday, currently employs 50 people and plans to add 30 more jobs by 2025. Here’s Cedric Schmidt, the director of GCN.
