The European Union has withdrawn its funding for the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission due to concerns over its handling of the recent disputed general elections, which saw Emmerson Mnangagwa securing a second presidential term amid reported irregularities. The EU had pledged 95 million rand in funding until December next year.
