EU commits millions for Green Hydrogen implementation

The European Union has pledged N$60 million in funding to bolster the operations of the recently formed Implementation Authority Office for the green hydrogen program. The office will take charge of planning, procurement, and supervision for green hydrogen initiatives on state-owned properties. Federico Berna, the EU’s Head of Cooperation, said the funds will also be extended to the Electricity Control Board and NamPower for new generation and rural electrification projects.
