A report by the World Meteorological Organization shows that climate change is having a measurable impact on air quality and human health. Secretary-General Petteri Taalas says heatwaves, fueled by climate change, significantly worsen air quality, which, in turn, has cascading effects on human health, ecosystems, and agriculture.
