World Health Organization Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, is in Namibia on a 2-day official visit. The WHO chief commended Namibia on its reduction of the prevalence of conditions such as Malaria, HIV/Aids, and mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
Meanwhile, Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula has warned of an increase in non-communicable diseases, during a meeting at State House with the WHO chief.
