US officials say preliminary intelligence suggests that Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was killed by an explosion on board his aircraft or some other form of sabotage. According to Ira Spitzer, Russian president Vladimir Putin has addressed his rival’s death for the first time, offering condolences to Prigozhin’s family.
