University of KwaZulu-Natal political analyst Zakhele Ndlovu says the Inkatha Freedom Party’s decision to use prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi as part of their election campaign strategy will keep his legacy alive. Speaking to eNCA, Ndlovu said the decision carries both symbolism and political weight as Buthelezi was a highly influential figure in South African politics, particularly in KwaZulu-Natal.
