The City of Tshwane has saved over two-million-rand in monthly salaries following the successful verification process of its 20-thousand-646 employees and Expanded Public Works Programme participants. The city has completed a comprehensive verification to prevent ghost employees and enhance accountability. However, 44 employees could not be physically verified, leading to further internal investigations.
