South Africa’s Federation of Trade Unions is demanding that members of government take their children to public schools

South Africa’s Federation of Trade Unions is demanding that members of government in senior positions from ministers to district directors and managers must all take their children to public schools between quintile one and three. This is the only way South Africans will begin to see a meaningful change in public schools, and other institutions of public service. Saftu’s spokesperson, Trevor Shaku says government continues to bungle the delivery of basic education at the expense of children:
