South Africa’s Automobile Association the government’s approach to Transport Month, labelling it as ineffective. The AA claims while the month is launched with enthusiasm, there is little progress in improving road infrastructure and addressing daily mobility issues for millions of citizens. They argue focusing on transport issues for just one month while neglecting them for the rest of the year, is a waste of taxpayer money. The association believes more meaningful change is needed to address transport and mobility challenges.
