The South African Jewish Board of Deputies and the South African Zionist Federation are appalled by the horrific events in Israel, saying Hamas has launched unprovoked attacks on innocent Israeli civilians. According to the organisations, this includes the massacre of teenagers at a music festival, the abduction of children and elderly women, and the killing of helpless babies on the streets.
