In news that is becoming more common from South Africa, two people were treated for injuries sustained during a tornado which swept through parts of Kwazulu-Natal yesterday afternoon. News24 quotes the SA Weather Service as confirming the incident, explaining that a storm developed from the coastal part of Durban at around lunch time and cycled around for about an hour before moving inland and producing a tornado. Further warnings of heavy rain and high winds have been issued for today.
