The Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare said they are shocked by the recent incident of child abuse in the Omaheke Region which has ignited widespread condemnation and public concern. A widely circulated video shows a five-year-old girl who was brutally assaulted by her three cousins, aged 6, 8, and 12, at her aunt and uncle’s home.
