SA’s Border Management Authority has revealed it has been busy expanding its capacity and integrating staff from various government departments over the past two years. Currently, the authority boasts a staff of more than two-thousand overseeing 72 ports of entry, including the absorption of 250 employees from Home Affairs. Commissioner Mike Masiapato briefed the media about the upcoming launch. He says the authority’s primary role is facilitating legal movement at the ports of entry:
