SA’s Axed Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has joined the EFF, saying she enters politics not for positions or that she is disgruntled. This comes a month after she was impeached by Parliament as the country’s fourth Public Protector on the grounds of incompetence and misconduct. Mkhwebane says she was joining the EFF because she believed in its seven cardinal pillars and wished to continue to protect South Africans:
