The highly anticipated Sanlam Bridge Programme, aimed at showcasing and supporting promising businesses, concluded phase one of the pitch competition on June 30th, 2023, as 16 ambitious entrepreneurs battled it out for a spot in the top 5. Following a rigorous evaluation process, the esteemed panel of judges has selected the following outstanding businesses: Rural Power Solutions cc, Namibian Culture Colouring Book, Edu-Game Namibia, Trimasena, and Rise Shine.
These innovative businesses demonstrated exceptional potential, compelling business models, and a strong commitment to driving positive change in their respective industries. The top five winners will each get a cash prize of $50,000 as a reward for their outstanding performance, empowering them to further develop their ventures and accelerate their growth.
Furthermore, Sanlam is proud to announce that the top 5 winners will also participate in all initiatives developed specifically for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs). These initiatives, designed to foster growth and sustainability, will further bolster the winners’ prospects and contribute to their long-term success.
