South African Parliament’s section 194 committee inquiring into suspended public protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s fitness to hold office has sustained all the charges against her and recommended that she be removed from office due to incompetence and misconduct during her investigations. Times Live reports though that Mkhwebane will still be afforded an opportunity to comment on the [draft] report and elect to comment or not comment. In which case the report will stand.
