Japan’s southern region of Okinawa is reeling after a powerful typhoon felled trees, toppled houses, and cut power to hundreds of thousands of homes on Wednesday. The effects of Typhoon Khanun (ka-noon) are still being felt as the storm slowly heads north-west towards China’s eastern coast. Chris Gilbert reports from Tokyo.
