The Namibian Police have confirmed that social media posts regarding the alleged hijacking of seven different vehicles at the Frankie Fredericks and Sean McBride traffic lights, as well as another two hijackings at the intersection of Frankie Fredericks and Chasie Street, are not true. The police did however confirm that two 2 incidents of robbery have occurred in the area over the past month.
