A leadership development training course for deputy commissioners from various directorates, regions, and divisions of the Namibian Police Force, is currently underway in Swakopmund. Nampa reports that the five-day workshop, which is being conducted by experts from the Namibian Institute of Public Administration and Management aims to provide an understanding of the principles of crisis management and leading during emergencies as well as the impact of culture on performance and leadership.
