Namibia needs millions for free internet access ambition

Dr. Becky Ndjoze-Ojo, a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on ICT and Innovation, told the 7th ICT Summit in Windhoek that Namibia needs N$300 million to offer free internet to its citizens. About half of the population currently has internet access, leaving 49% without access, highlighting the need for extensive national transformation to embrace the digital future.
