Namibia, Botswana, and South Africa are co-chairing a joint ministerial meeting focusing on advancing the Trans-Kalahari railway line project. The talks included the transportation of coal, copper, zinc, and other mineral resources, the completion and rehabilitation of the railway line, employment, and regional trade opportunities.
