Mashatile’s ‘highlife’ revealed

News24 has revealed that Deputy South African President Paul Mashatile, who previously said the ANC would build the capacity to fight corruption, lives a life of luxury, staying in expensive homes owned by businessmen benefitting from state contracts. In fact, one of Mashatile’s largest benefactors is Edwin Sodi, the politically connected businessman linked to expelled former Free State premier, Ace Magashule, both of whom are currently on trial on charges of corruption and fraud linked to a R255-million Free State asbestos eradication tender.
