A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 30-year-old man on two occasions. The incident was reported at Outjo in the Kunene Region.
According to a crime report by the Namibian Police Force, the alleged rape instances occurred in 2022 and 2023. The victim is now reportedly three months pregnant. The case was opened after a teacher reported the matter to the police. The suspect has not yet been arrested. In a separate incident, a trial-awaiting man was on Friday was found in possession of drugs with an estimated value of N$600 at Rehoboth in the Hardap Region.
