A 26-year-old man reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself with an electrical cord at Keetmanshoop in the |Kharas Region on Sunday morning. Namibian Police Force, acting crime investigations coordinator for ||Kharas, Chief Inspector, Theodore Kotungondo says the incident happened at the railway line small bridge in the Noordhoek residential area. It is alleged that the deceased was found hanging with an electrical cord around his neck fastened on a steel bar under the bridge and was certified dead on arrival at the Keetmanshoop State Hospital. He was identified as Jenver Meyer and his next of kin are aware of his death.
