JSE rebukes Trustco over loan disclosure failures

The JSE has publicly reprimanded Trustco for failing to promptly inform shareholders about changes in a loan linked to its CEO, Quinton van Rooyen. Following this, the JSE required Trustco to restate its financials, leading to a share suspension in November 2022. According to News24, Trustco eventually agreed to restate its financials in February, and its suspension was lifted in March. In June, the company’s reconsideration application was heard by the FST, and on Monday, the application was dismissed.
