The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology announced that Namibia has been ranked number one in Africa and 8th globally as pronounced in the Global Gender Gap Report 2023, which is compiled yearly by the World Economic Forum. This makes Namibia the highest gender equality country in Africa at 80.2%. Here is the Ministry’s Executive Director, Audrin Mathe.
