India makes history as Chandrayaan-3 lands on the moon’s south pole

India’s Chandrayaan-3 has become the first spacecraft to land near the south pole of the Moon. According to the BBC, inside the lander is a six-wheeled rover, which, if all goes to plan, will roam the lunar surface gathering images and data.
