The Ministry of Health and Social Services met with stakeholders to discuss rescheduling veterinary medicines. Executive Director of the ministry, Ben Nangombe emphasised the importance of responsible use to support agricultural health and productivity.
The stakeholders’ workshop is necessitated by an urgent need to sustainably address antimicrobial resistance, recognised as a key global challenge affecting human, animal, plant, and environmental health.
