A new report from the International Labour Organization has indicated that generative AI is unlikely to completely replace most jobs, but rather, it will automate specific tasks within those roles, allowing workers to focus on other responsibilities. It however warned that clerical work would likely be the hardest hit, potentially hitting female employment harder, given women’s over-representation in the sector.
