The Financial Intelligence Center by the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorist and Proliferation Council appointed a news director. Chairperson of the Council, Johannes !Gawaxab, stated that the appointment Bryan Eiseb as the new Director is effective as of 01 January 2024. !Gawaxab added that the position of the FIC director has been vacant since the appointment of Leonie Dunn, who had occupied the position, as second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Namibia in January 2022.
