Eskom has announced stage 4 load-shedding. Stages 2 and 4 will continue to be implemented daily until further notice. Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokoena says the implementation of the higher stages of load-shedding is due to the loss of additional generating units over the past 24 hours. She says the power utility will reduce stages of black-outs where possible:
