EFF leader Julius Malema has vowed the state will not quash his political ideas. He accuses the state of employing its power, the courts, and security forces to silence him but maintains it will not succeed. Malema addressed his supporters outside the East London Magistrate’s Court in the Eastern Cape following his unsuccessful bid to dismiss a firearm discharge case. The case against Malema and his bodyguard, Adriaan Snyman, was postponed to July next year:
