Brazil donates over 2 million to Namibia through WFP

The Federative Republic of Brazil handed over a donation of over 2 million to the Government of Namibia. This is done through the World Food Programme. WFP Namibia Deputy Country Representative noted that the United Nations WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian organisation, with the mandates of saving lives in emergencies and changing lives through complementing governments’ efforts to end hunger by 2030 through livelihood projects. Ericah Shafudah added that the WFP in partnership with the Federative Republic of Brazil supported the implementation of five community-based food system.
