U.S. President Biden has spoken to members of a Congressional delegation who’ve just returned from Israel. He is on his way there to show solidarity, and to push for more humanitarian support for Palestinians affected by Israeli airstrikes. Caroline Malone reports that there are still scores of hostages being held by Hamas, 10 days since the militant group attacks on Israel.
Meanwhile in news just in from Reuters…Gaza’s health ministry spokesman said an Israeli air strike on Tuesday killed hundreds of people at a hospital in the Palestinian enclave, but Israel said a Palestinian barrage had caused the blast.
