Assets are preserved in the SA’s National Lotteries Commission corruption case

The National Prosecuting Authority’s Asset Forfeiture Unit and Special Investigating Unit have secured a preservation order to safeguard assets connected to corruption at the National Lotteries Commission. The order by the High Court in Pretoria covers four properties in Limpopo and three luxury vehicles valued at approximately 14-million-rand. The assets are linked to the misappropriation of funds at the commission. NPA spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana says the assets will remain frozen while an application for forfeiture is pursued:
