AgriSA says farmers have lost at least one-billion-rand worth of crops and livestock due to devastating fires in parts of the Northern Cape, Free State, North West, and Limpopo between August and this month. At least 1.2-million hectares of land had been affected by the ongoing fires in the provinces.
